Me. He’d chosen me.
Not a rich girl. Or a pretty girl.
But me…
A girl with a bleak future. A girl with a tragic past.
Sloane Rothchild, New York City’s most eligible billionaire bachelor, could’ve picked a beautiful and educated girl to be his new assistant. But he wanted me. And all I had to do was show him I could obey.
Be a good girl. Be his dirty girl. But if I didn’t obey… I’d get the whip. Spankings. Chains…
Oh, why did the dirty and forbidden things he wanted to do to me send tingles through all the right places?
So, I fell hard and fast for him. I bared my body to him. My heart. My soul.
But there was another side of Mr. Rothchild—a side he didn’t warn me about. A side I had to find out about on my own… His other half. His dark and mysterious twin, Cain.
Cain was like me—scarred and damaged. We immediately connected. He understood my needs. But after all, shouldn’t my heart belong to the man who’d given me the opportunity of a lifetime?
Each brother had taken a piece of me. One man had torn my heart out, and the other had used my body. But only one truly owned me. And only one man had swept me up in a current of lust and need…
Only one had tangled me in his web of lies and deceit.
Megan and Sloane’s “relationship” continues to hit new lows. Between Sloane’s love for alcohol (seriously, it reads like he could rival any alcoholic in unit intake), Megan’s insecurity and their shared trust issues, you got the perfect recipe for disaster. Luckily, Sloane’s identical twin brother, Cain, is waiting around every corner in the hopes that Megan will choose him, so they can skip off into the sunset together.Nobody told me there would be danger. Nobody told me I might fear for my life.

You’ll definitely have to read the first book to understand this one. I read both books back-to-back, this one was just… not as exciting for me… Definitely didn’t like it as much as the first one. Honestly both ‘books’ could have been combined.

This book starts off where the first one ends, and Megan and Sloane’s “relationship” continues to hit new lows.

Sloane’s twin bother, Cain, set’s Megan up, when a business meeting goes as wrong as possible, and Megan’s consent for use of Sloane’s signature finds its way to a dotted line it really shouldn’t be on. And from there everything goes south. Sloane kicks Megan out. Out of the company. Out of his bed. Out of the house. Megan tries to claim her innocence, but her drunken boss and lover won’t hear of it. So, what does Megan do? She leaves with Cain, who seems to think he has her ‘best interests’ in mind.  Megan is very naive and Cain is quite persuasive. And they end up having sex…. I mean, nothing says healthy mind like having rebound/revenge sex with your ex’s identical twin.

Theses two books were VERY short, and I really wish they were combined … and the plot, the characters lacks depth, emotion and development… It was still a really good two-part book . It’s such a bumpy, intense, story and I absolutely loved it! I will definitely be reading more of Jenna Fox’s books
