There is a balance in life most know nothing about. Some are put here to simply exist, while others have been placed here to ensure life. Healers, such as Aldo Lawson understand the power of their gift, although at times, it seems more a curse. Upon meeting a handsome young healer named Thomas, Aldo’s life heads into a tailspin. With his arrival, Aldo’s aunt, the woman who raised her, is forced to share a hard and scary truth–vampires exist. And not only do they exist, but they thirst for healer blood.
Despite this new and frightening information, Aldo longs for a normal senior year, and she’s determined to have it. So close to achieving her goal, her world is turned upside down when her aunt is murdered and Thomas disappears. Riddled with questions, she sets out to find him.
Submerged in a world filled with sex and danger, Aldo hopes to find the vampires that will lead her to Thomas. When they find her first, she is forced to piece together truths, deal with her pain, and finds that not everything is what it seems

Wow! I absolutely loved this book! I couldn’t put it down!
Healer is a well-written novel, it’s one of those books that will stay on your mind long after reading it because of the overall impact it leaves; complete and utter amazement. We are taken along for a ride with Aldo as she remembers her past and compares it to her present life and tries to fix everything that she thinks is wrong with her current situations. When she meets Thomas she is smitten at first sight but he holds himself at arm’s length romantically because of their age difference. As the novel progresses, they grow closer to one another, however only as friends, when tragedy hits, it’s time for Aldo and her brothers to move on. But Aldo has trouble moving on, so she sets out looking for Thomas. It takes longer than expected and the thing she’s feared all of her life, finally finds her.
The reader is captivated by this unique story of healers and vampires; it’s filled with drama, mystery, suspense and romance. I would highly recommend this novel and can’t wait to read more from this author!!
