Wow! From the minute I started I was hooked! It was a quick read that left me wanting more! Just One Night, Part 1: The Stranger is a great read, and a superb way to start off a series.
The twists and turns keep the reader on edge, while reading the novel. The novel starts off with Kasie, (the main character) and Simone, her best friend, in Vegas for the weekend, before she settles down with her boyfriend of six years. While in Vegas, Simone gives Kasie some bad advice-‘sleep with a stranger’. ‘sleep with a stranger she does, from this passionate on night with this stranger (Mr.Dade), to sooo much more, Kasie wasn’t prepared for him in her town, wanting to work with her, however this is exactly what she finds happening. No matter how much she wants to be rid of him, she can’t escape him. The novel ends with Kasie walking away from Robert Dade, because of the text message she had received from her fiancé Dave, who at this point is very angry. In a sense you get this look into Dave and wonder what’s going to happen next. CLIFFHANGER!!! Ugh! L
I really enjoyed this novel, it was well written; I cannot wait until the next installment comes out in March! J
