More info. about this book:
Ari and Janco deal with a Sandseed Story Weaver and a cocky young soldier while Valek is off helping Yelena.
This short story is a little longer than Assassin Study and it features my two favorites characters from the series: Ari and Janco.Unlike Assassin Study, where we get a lot of unnecessary background info (if you’re reading a short story from a series, it should be assumed that you’re familiar with that world), here almost everything relates to the events at hand, leaving the characters (and readers) free to live this story without worrying about the past of the future. This tight focus coupled with the extra length and Ari and Janco’s humor made me really enjoyed the story.

A very good thing about Snyder’s short stories is that she doesn’t get to make the characters act like idiots just to further the plot. And that is something that seemed to get worse with each subsequent novel. Poison Study managed to avoid this almost to perfection but, by the second book in the Glass series, I had to force myself to finish reading. It was so annoying that, even though I want to know how it ends, I still haven’t picked up the last one
